Web 2.0 - An Argument Against Convergence

For the purposes of LINK, Web 2.0 is used casually - or perhaps with a suspension of critical analysis - to mean:
- technologies that permit easy generation, publishing and interaction with content through the web without necessarily having to build one's own sites and services
- a mindset that privileges human interaction through and about content so generated with an emphasis on media consumers as producers
- linking people (identities) with ideas (knowledge) through interaction (communication
